Loved this place! The food was really lovely (I had pasta) and the service was brilliant. I have dietary requirements which they went out of their way to cater for - this is quite uncommon these days, so I was really impressed! They were friendly too and made sure to check that the food order was correct. Definitely recommend :)

I had a really nice evening at The Italian Sul Lago. The location is fantastic – right by the lake, with a peaceful view that makes the whole experience feel a bit more special. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, with just the right amount of elegance. It’s perfect for a date night or a quiet dinner with friends. The food was genuinely good – I went for the seafood linguine and it was full of flavour, with plenty of prawns and mussels. The pasta was cooked just right and the sauce had a nice depth to it. Starters and desserts were also well presented and tasty, though the portions could’ve been a bit bigger for the price. Service was polite and attentive without being too much. It’s not the cheapest place in Milton Keynes, but for the setting and quality, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’d be happy to go back, especially when the weather’s nice enough to sit outside.
One of the best sunset views in Milton Keynes. Really good food and our waitress REANNA was the best one of the restaurant, suggesting us about the food and desserts. Good price. We’ll repeat for sure.

This lakeside restaurant has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. Every dish—from the appetizers and main courses to the sides and desserts—is very tasty. It’s a satisfying choice for celebrating a birthday or special occasion.
We visited The Italian Sul Lago at around 5:30pm without a reservation and were seated quickly, which was a great start. The location is lovely, with a peaceful view over the lake and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent throughout. Friendly, efficient and genuinely made us feel looked after. We ordered the Beef Short Rib and the Beef Pappardelle. Both were superb. The short rib was incredibly tender and fell off the bone, packed with flavour. The pappardelle was rich and satisfying, with fresh pasta and a generous portion size. We finished with gelato, which was also excellent. Generous portions, high-quality ingredients and great service made this a really enjoyable visit. We'll definitely be returning.
